Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily living activities.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
Provide rehabilitative care focused on improving motor skills, coordination, and strength.
Instruct patients in the use of adaptive equipment and techniques to increase independence.
Document patient progress, maintain accurate treatment records, and report changes to the supervising therapist.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (nursing, PT, speech, etc.) to ensure continuity of care.
Promote a positive, supportive, and safe environment for all residents and staff.
