AvaMed Workforce is a Healthcare Staffing Agency that staffs healthcare professionals thought all of CA. At the moment we are in URGENT need of a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to take on a Full-Time assignment at a facility located in Stockton, CA.

Position Details:
40 Hours per week
Location: Stockton, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
Rate: $50/hr W2 (Travel Rate Available)

Job Description:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans
  • Conduct therapeutic activities according to the occupational therapist's guidance
  • Monitor patient progress and report it to the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Instruct patients and families in following treatment plans and using therapeutic equipment
  • Help patients improve their cognitive, physical, and emotional well-being
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatments
  • Modify treatment plans to address patient needs in consultation with an Occupational Therapist
  • Educate patients and their families on tasks and activities necessary for rehabilitation
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and outcomes
