AvaMed Workforce is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) for a contract assignment at a correctional facility in Soledad, CA.

Rate: $80/hr

Position details

  • Contract assignment, full-time days
  • Location: Soledad, CA

What you'll do

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
  • Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, mobility and functional rehabilitation
  • Document evaluations, progress notes and discharge plans accurately and on time
  • Work with physicians, nursing and the interdisciplinary care team in a secure setting
  • Follow all safety, security and custody protocols

Requirements

  • Active California Physical Therapist (PT) license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Correctional or CDCR experience strongly preferred
  • Must pass a background clearance
  • Reliable, professional and comfortable in a correctional environment
